Looking for Miniature Rescue Doodles in Northern Virginia!!!

I don't know if this is the place to start this discussion or not, however I am searching for an adorable doodle about 30lbs. or under.  I have written on this quite a bit, however, I always seem to write on the incorrect page.  If anyone has any suggestions or advice, I would welcome it.

I have had dogs my entire life, yet never a doodle.  I adore doodles and would love to have one!!!  I have not lived in Northern Virginia long, so I do not know my way around well.  However, I do want to learn, and what better way than to learn on the way to get a doodle!  Seriously, I do want a doodle so badly, but cannot seem to find one up here.   I am looking for a Rescue Doodle, that is important to me.  If anyone has ANY ideas or advice I would greatly welcome it.  I am either not looking in the correct places, or I simply do not know where to look, and I have been looking non-stop it seems like.  Is there anyone out there who can help me???

In fact, as mentioned in his listing, he's already on hold, lol. Mini-doodles go very quickly in rescue, it's best to submit applications with several rescue groups before you even see a dog you're interested in, because there are usually dozens of applicants for every available dog. Smaller doodles, females, blondes, reds, chocolates, non-shedders, adults under 3 years old, and puppies are all in higher demand.

I would also not overlook other poodle mixes.

Laurie, is there any particular reason you are looking for a smaller dog? There a lots of beautiful standard doodles who are in need of good homes. Of course if you live somewhere that has a restriction on the size of dog you can have that would limit your options.

Hey You Guys!!!

I would love, love, love a standard doodle, but I have to have one 30lbs. or under in the apt. where I live.  Unfortunately, I can't even find that up here.  I am so disappointed, I wanted a rescue doodle so badly.  Do you all have any ideas?!  I sure hope someone does, I am praying for it.  You all take the greatest of care and have a beautiful day...  God Bless...  Laurie
