He looks a little like our second labradoodle. Yours is a goldendoodle, correct? I can obviously see he has a shorter coat, that means he likely WILL shed to some extent (much, much less than a retriever). However, the degree of coat developement is dependent on how many 'long' hairs are dispersed throughout the coat. The long hairs give and indication of the the 'feathering' that will develop in the coat. Also, the softer the coat the less shedding, however it looks like your pup has predominantly 'hair' which is more coarse than the fleece or wool coat typse which are mostly nonshedding.
I looked at the attachments and believe he will be hair coated with fleece feathering. The hair part sheds some and the feathering needs to be trimmed a bit. Look at the less shaggy photos to get an idea of what he will look like mature.
Oliver sure is a handsome boy! I think that "Scruffy" should be his middle name! Please keep the pictures coming so we can see how his coat progresses.
OMD he is a cutie!
I don't know what he will look like but he is absolutely adorable and can only get better as you know him more. He is a beautiful dood.
Doodle looks can be highly overrated :) What's most important is that amazing personality. Oliver is gorgeous...love his coloring and those beautiful eyes. Seriously, he may be one of the cutest pups I have ever seen.
