Today, I was thinking.  My poor Bailey has so many loving names, I wonder if she knows it.  Sometimes we call her just "Dood".  Other times I call her "Doodlebreath", "Baby", "Girlfriend", or Bailey, Bailey, Bailey.

She always turns her head when I don't use her "Legal Name", but then I wonder if she just knows the sound of my voice.

I thought it would be fun to hear from all of you:  Do you have loving names for your Doodles?  If so, what are they?

My 87-year-old mother, who has pretty significant memory problems, once called Sedona "Seblona" and it kind of stuck.  My husband calls her that almost as much as her real name.  I usually call her "Baby Girl" or "Pumpkin" - both of which I also use for my granddaughter.

zackadoodle, big boy, baby boy, buddy, zack the yak, sweetie pie.

Clifford:  Cliffy, Fluffy butt, cutie-pie, big moose, sweetie, baby-cakes

Cloud:  Cloud-doodle, curly top, digger, rain cloud, sweetie, super t-bone

As a group:  Boyzos (a combination of boys and Bozo-as in the clown)

Harley Mcfarley, bear butt-bear butt, silly willy, baby boy, big boy, little s*** (meant lovingly, of course. lol).
It is pretty much "Baby girls" here.  I always refer to them as "the girls" when I'm speaking of them.  This has pretty much caught on with every one that knows them.  They always ask "How are the girls or where are the girls".
Huffy, Huffy-boy, my boy, Mr.baby kisses, Huff, Huffington, fluffington, baby doodle boy.
Oh ya and I forgot Fluffernutter.

Cubbie gets called Cubbers, Cubs, Peanut, Pickles (I don't even know why), and Stinky

Ollie gets called Ollers, Olls, Olliepop, Mr. Ollie (for more formal occasions...lol) and Big Head (his head is huge compared to Cubbie's peanut head!)

Moose is usually Moose-man or Mommy's baby. My daughter started calling him Poopie & he answers to that too!
I could honestly write a book with all the nicknames I have for Lola. I'll pick the top few... "Doodley doo", "Doodley schmoo", "little one", "my baby", "little bum", "fuzzy bum", "drama" (this is when she's giving the signature dramatic look). I'll stop now, or you'll start to think I'm nuts.
We sing to Lola all the time too!!!! We play on Barry Manilow's "Copacabana"....."Her name is Lola, she is a doodle...." so fun!
Oh I love this Sue! ...with yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there...
