Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
This should be under the heading of NOTHING TO DO WITH DOODLES, but since I want EVERYONE to see this, and to justify being on the main Forum, there is a picture of Marley doodle included. Sneaky, I know.
As some of you may know, I retired in November for two big reasons, well actually three. One was my parents moved accross the country to live closer to us so we can care for them and two, our daughter was having twins.
Well, our darling twins arrived this past monday morning, at 39 weeks gestation, which is very rare, only 1% of twins make it to that ripe old age. They were delivered by a midwife, both vaginally and both went right to mom and right to breast as we all had hoped.
So, of course I have pictures. Here are Maddox 6#10oz and Kai - 5#8oz, both 19 1/2 inches long
Kai is smaller and 14 minutes younger
Mom and Dad with their boys
The boys checking things out on the safety of mommys chest.
Marley doodle is on baby patrol once again. He is Michele's faithful companion during every feeding and sits by the boys day and night. When one crys he gets up and gives them a sniff, as if to check things out and tell them "It's okay, I'm here". Adorable.
"You can lean on me big bro." I may be little, but I am strong!" And he was the one always kicking and stretching the whole pregnancy. BIg Brother is a bit of a laid back kinda dude.
And this is my adorable granddaughter , Logan, who wants to feed her baby "mommys' milk too". This is all she knows and was breastfed for 2 1/2 years. This is a Lactation Consultants dream to know that this is her legacy, passed down for 2 generations now. I'm sure she will give her real babies real mommys milk someday.

Congrats to your family! Marley will be a huge part of their lives for a long time....:)
Marley just turned 8 in Jan. We hope they will know him well.
How wonderful! My daughter in law is expecting twins in about 5 or 6 weeks. They won't let her go past. 37weeks so she is worried about a c section. We can't wait.
Oh dear, what is wrong that they wont "LET" her go past? There needs to be a medical reason for that thinking. And yes, she is buying herself a c sect. for sure. There must be some reason ?
Congratulations on the beautiful additions to your family. I sense you are not regretting your decision to retire. :<)
Oh Donna, you must remember my quandry over my decision. You sense correctly, I can't imagine anything else more meaningful in life than spending time with my children and their children when they need me the most. Thank you for your thoughts
They are just beautiful! Congratulations to you all! Looking forward to more photos!!
