I know that size topics have been discussed before so I apologize if this is a duplicate discussion. I ran a search but so many results came back with various subjects :-)
I'm curious what size your medium/large doodle was at 6 months old compared to his/her adult size. My goldendoodle, Webster, is currently 59lbs and 21 1/2 inches (at the shoulder) at 6 months old. I'd love to hear your experiences. Thanks!
Well typically for standard size doodles the rule of thumb for estimating adult size (weight only) is to double their 4 month weight and add 5-10 lbs. My Rosco was 40 lbs at 4 months ... so double that makes 80 .. plus 5 = 85 which is precisely his weight now...he varies between 80-86, but close enough!
So yours will probably be somewhere between 70-80 lbs (not knowing your doodle's 4 month weight). However, height doesn't have a rule of thumb that I know of. Your dog is gorgeous though =)

Webster is so cute! Sorry, I can't answer your question either. Motta is 5 1/2 months and 58 lbs now. His sister Miley is 45 lbs. He's stockier like a GR and she is slimmer like a poodle.
The 4 month guesstimate seems to be working for most of the doodles I know. Our daughters was 35 pds at 4 month and he's around 71-75 pds at 21 months and our 9 month old who was 28 at 4 months is looking like he'll be around 60ish in the next 6 months so I'd go with your 4 month weight, and add 10 pds for a healthy guess.
Our male golden dood was the same weight 59.75 lbs. at six mths. This is a picture of him at 5 mths. I havn't had him weighed recently-he is now almost 1 yr old-his first bday is Sept 30th, but we are guessing that he is 80 - 85 lbs. He is tall and long and is really filling out now. He is HUGE. I have lost my camera or I would post a more recent photo. Webster is gorgeous!
Thank you all for your kind comments :-) I took Webster to the vet for his 16wk shots and the vet scale gave a different reading each time - anywhere between 28 and 35 pounds. The vet told me that they recommend doubling the 4 month weight & I've read here about adding 5-10 lbs. I was hoping that you all would tell me that the 70 - 80lb estimate was high (I was hoping for around 65 lbs) .........oh well.....we've started to nickname him "Sasquatch" and tease the kids that a momma sasquatch left her baby to be raised with a litter of puppies. They are pretty sure we're joking - lol!
For me the 4 month double thing did not work at all. Fergie was about 35 lbs. at 4 months and she was 42 lbs at 6 months and the same at 8 months. I did get her up to 47 at a year but now she's 18 months and she's down to 45. I really lucked out with her size. Her full sister is 7 months and is 53 lbs. now and just keeps growing.
