Meet Honey!!

Our baby is finally here!! She is an F1 Golden Doodle and she came home today. My kids knew we had been looking for a dog but had no idea it was actually coming and we were able to keep it a secret until she arrived at the door!! It has been an amazing day. She loves her crate and slept in there by choice a lot of today. She's currently sleeping on my chest. Not quiet getting the whole peeing outside thing yet but I know it will take time. We are just so happy she's here!! In love. I have lots of questions but right now I'm trying to just enjoy this sweet puppy time. Hoping she sleeps as much tonight as she has today!!

Congratulations, she is adorable. I couldn't see the 2nd photo. The first 2 nights were kind of rough for Annabelle. She ended up in bed with me those nights, then it got a lot better. I'm sure she just missed her mama and siblings. I did bring home a blanket with her moms scent on it that she slept with for quite awhile.

She is precious! Make sure to take LOTS of pictures. This puppy time passes quickly and there won't be opportunities to get more baby pictures. Some have taken a photo weekly, sitting next to something for size reference which is a cute idea.

Congratulations Kim !!  Beautiful puppy....looks a little bit like Teddy when I got him last September.

Any questions on the first few weeks/months, Teddy was my 1st dog so I am still fresh with lots of pointers.  Feel free to ask me.  Get potty bells for your doorknob(s) ASAP and hit them EVERY TIME you take Honey outside.  She will pick it up -- trust me.

My parent surprised my when I was seven years old with my yellow lab. They sent me off to my grandparents to stay the night and when they picked me up they had my Bonny with them. This was after 4 years of nagging and begging them to get me a dog. For some reason my first thought was that we were just babysitting the puppy for someone, lol. It was the best day of my childhood, and I'm sure your kids will remember it as such too.
