Meet Trusty, our new labradoodle! :)

We finally have a doodle! We recently had the most amazing opportunity to apply for a service dog through a local organization, and we were fortunate enough to be one of the families that they selected! Trusty is the pup they got for us. We'll be taking him to their obedience classes for the next year before he gets his task-specific training for the service dog work he'll be doing.

So - I just wanted to say hello again now that we actually own a doodle! I look forward to learning more from all of you. :)

Thank you all for your warm welcome. We'd only had Trusty for two weeks - and this 4-month old pup already did something wonderful!!! The other day, my son missed his nap, and his crankiness turned into a tantrum while we were riding in the car. Trusty started licking him shortly after the tantrum started, and then my son got the giggles and snapped out of the tantrum before it turned into a melt down!!! Needless to say, we were thrilled with what just naturally occurred. Can't wait to see all the wonderful things this dog can do once he's fully trained! :)
