metal piece in food

I'm a little mad. I just found a piece of metal in Ollie's food. I took it out so obviously he is fine. But how does this even happen?

Hey it was his Fromm puppy food. This really shocked me because it is a great brand and company. I understand that stuff like this happens, I just hope it was the only piece and that Ollie or no other dog consumed any!

include the date too and batch number if there is one. Fromm is a small family owned business and I have had nothing but good interactions with them and their reps. Hopefully you will get a good outcome from this

Wow. It's a pretty big piece! Good thing you found it before Ollie ate it. This could cause a pretty big health issue!

I feel bad putting something bad to their name. They make a great product and from what I hear are a great company.

I know what you mean, when it is such a reputable company.  In the very best of companies an unfortunate thing like this can occur.  All the same, you are doing the right thing reporting it.  What the company does with this information will speak to their integrity. I don't know if there will be a recall, but it seems to me that it would be the right thing for them to do.
