I love to read about all things dog.... Love reading about personality quirks and funny things......

I could write a book about Jack and what I love about him.....

Current top favorites.

He is the biggest "tattle tail" ever.... When ever someone is in our yard like when a ball rolled in from one of the neighbors he comes and gets me barking hard.... he has to make sure I get up and go look at what ever it is... Once I look and say okay, he stops.. My little watch dog.

I love how he "communicates" with me by head nodding me around the house.. When he wants something he comes and stares at me and won't stop no matter what until I say show me.. He takes a few steps and looks back to see if I am coming..He nods his head at me in the direction he wants me to go...    He can tell me if he has to go potty, wants a walk, or a treat.. and I love how his little butt wiggles with excitement when I follow him around.

I love how he can discern somehow between friends and medical people.. When friends are over he will stay by them and let them pet him then he goes to his "Office" and lays on the bed and looks outside. When the medical professionals that are there to take care of me, even if we are just sitting and talking  He sits on top of me and won't leave my side until they are gone.

My number one favorite thing in the world currently about him is when we go to sleep, I shut off the TB and close the iPad.... he then comes and lays his warm body next to me and we snuggle till morning.. I love when I wake up at night he is right by my side, his head on a pillow right next to mine....

SO play along if you want.. what are your favorite things you love about your doodle or different dog if you have them as well.

Oh Jennifer, I could just go on forever with my favorite things about Libby!  She too has many of "your" favorite things and I am always amazed at what she does when we talk to her.  Honestly, I do believe these dogs understand English or at least learn the word.  Her love for us overwhelms us at times and she brings me to tears often with her expression of love for the two of us.  Her eyes talk to us and we for the most part can understand exactly what she is saying to us.  I can hardly go out even to run errands that I don't miss her so much and come home with hugs and kisses from Libby which would make one think we have been gone for weeks. When I go by a room and she is in it just sleeping on a bed, curled up in a chair or resting on her pillow I cannot help myself but to go kiss and hug on her.  I tell her constantly how much I love her and I know she understands what I am saying.  Ok, I sound totally nuts, but that is ok, because I'm totally nuts in love with this girl!

I do the same thing,......

Neither one of you are nuts....I feel the same way about my "2"!!! Their expressions are one of my Favorite things!!! They are definitely like having two more Humans in the house, and I agree that they understand everything we say. I too could go on forever. We are at the beach with ours now, I never travel without them. I just wouldn't enjoy myself, or sleep well without them stretched out next to me. I feel Blessed to have them in my life everyday!!

They really are angels living among us... you have to see it for what it is... what an incredible gift to human beings to have such a loyal, loving, faithful companion.

Not sure if I love this, but it makes us laugh.  If either my DH or I get up in the middle of the night, Quincy is sure to be on our pillow when we come back!  Then we look at him, say QUUUINNNCY!" and he goes right to the foot of the bed to his own pillow.  If my DH is asleep-just looking at him sends him scurrying.

Jack would make my husband should I ever have one, sleep at the foot of the bed no doubt... and I would have to say that Jack was there first.. :) SO cute

nah- Jack will be in the middle cuddling both of you!

I always thought I would get him a side sleeper for next to the bed.. Hey a girl can dream. :)

I am obsessed with the head cocking from side to side when she hears a strange noise. When I was searching for a labradoodle (before I got her) I saw a video of a labradoodle doing this and loved it. When my boyfriend and I picked her up and drove home, she was sitting in my lap in the passenger seat. I started talking to her and she cocked her head to the side. I was so excited I squealed "oh my gosh, she did the head thing!!!"

That is cute! I love that too!

So cute that you have a cuddle bug with you! I don't think our pup will get bed privileges, but we do cuddle time to time on the couch.

My favorite thing about our 8 week old pup is his love for his new pack. We've had a week with him tomorrow and he went from a pup who lost his family to a happy, goofy puppy who shows his love daily. He has such a fun personality - playing with his toys and being curious with every new sound. But at the end of each night, he sits between us and falls asleep. He's such a sweetheart.

Oh, and I love that he lets me hold him like a baby :)

I love hearing all of these stories!
By far my favorite thing about Brisby is that he loves everyone in our family equally but each in a special way. He hangs out with my hubby at night when he works late, he wakes up my son and helps him down the stairs in the morning (my son has cerebral palsy), he snuggles with my daughter and he gladly goes with me everywhere on errands, etc. he is truly a family member.
