My pug Ozzy died.

I thought all of you should know that Ozzy died a couple of days ago from cancer.I never saw any signs of it until 4 days before he died.It  was like he got hit by a bus or something.Im still in shock.My family came to stay with me for a few days to help me out.But now they are gone and im sitting here with Dakota and losing my mind.My family told me that i need another dog but I dont know.Im not sure of anything right now.

Jared, I am so, so sorry to hear about Ozzy. I know you are grieving and missing him terribly. Maybe you can take a little comfort from the fact that he had a long and happy life with you and that he didn't suffer a long time.

And let Dakota be a comfort to you--I know she misses him, too. And I know that doodle hugs and kisses can be very helpful when you're sad.

Jared, I am so sorry to hear about Ozzy....I am sure this is a terrible shock to you and Dakota.  Let the shock set in and then the grieving, and then the healing.  Dakota needs you now too, they feel the loss and need you to be there for them too.  Hugs to both of you...I will light a candle for Ozzy tonight to guide his wsay to the Rainbow Bridge.
