Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

We are now offering a new photo editing feature that I think many of you will LOVE. It is essentially a stripped down version of Aviary.com (one of the best online photo editors) that is plugged right in to our site.

To use it, go you any of your own photos and put your mouse pointer over the photo. A link will appear at the top of your photo that says "Photo Stickers & Effects". Click on that link and an editing menu will appear.

I'm really excited about this new feature.  :-)  Play with it and let us know what you think!

Sounds fun! Thanks!

Let's see if I did this right.  Here's mine.

Ok, we need to know how you got it in your reply, would copy and paste work?
For now, once you've edited your photo from your photo page, you just right click on it to get the URL of the photo and post it in here similarly to how you'd post a photo here anyway, BUT you use the 'from URL' section instead of the 'browse' section.
Yes, they certainly do, you look like a really brainy doodle and cute too.

Chose my picture - pointed mouse over pic - got link 'photo stickers & effects' but no editing menu appeared .......... wahhhhh I wanna play - what am I doing wrong?   Will keep trying since I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to my new laptop.

Did you click where it says stickers and effects, when you click there the menu should come up to the right.

Test it after restarting your browser.  This feature is really javascript intensive so it is dependent on your browser to do the heavy lifting.

If it still doesn't work after restarting your browser, test a different browser.  Try Firefox, Chrome, Safari, or IE8 (IE9 still doesn't play nice with our site).  If it works in a different browser... then unfortunately the problem is with the browser you were originally using.  But often a browser restart will solve the issue.

I had to go back into the picture once I made the changes and resave it into another directory.  Then after I typed my message here, I clicked above on Image.  Then I downloaded it from my directory.  I don't know how to post it right from DK.
That's how I did it too.  But there HAS to be a better way that we can do this.  I'll work on getting that done.

I embedded this one in the discussion a different way... but it wasn't much easier.

I went to the edited picture, clicked "View full size", then copied that URL (from the address bar).  Then I came to this thread and in the reply box I clicked the insert image icon.  In that dialog box I clicked the "From URL" tab and pasted the URL I can copied from the picture page there.

Whew!  I will keep working on a way to simplify this.

Very fun!
