New puppy

Hi!  I'm so excited to finally get a Golden Doodle after several years of research and really wanting one.  I hope that I've attached a few pictures of Darby.  She is a standard sized F1.  She is 6 weeks old and we will be getting her in a couple of weeks.  I would love to hear opinions of what type of coat you think she'll have.  I would also love to know what grooming products have worked best for your dogs.

Her coat looks a lot like Loki when he was a puppy and he has a fleecy wavey coat. So cute by the way!

Now that is one cute Darby Doodle! It looks like she'll have a wavy fleece coat. I am able do do most of my regular coat maintenance with a metal comb and a matt zapper by Les Poochs. I bet you can't wait for these two weeks to pass so that she will finally be home.

THE most exciting time!!!  Two weeks to get ready!  Read all you can here - that's what I did!  I wanted to know everything there was to know about my new puppy!  Go to Puppy Madness and the Food Group and of course, here! There is also a grooming group!  There are lots of other groups but those ones will help you so much right now!  I was also looking up names - sooo hard to decide!  I actually got my name on this group (thank you Jennifer Chloe and Myla)!!!!  Have fun!!! Your puppy is sooo adorable!

I am so excited :)  Her mother is a dark red GR and dad is a black poodle.  We got an email today that Darby weighs 12 pounds at almost 7 weeks...she's a butterball!!  LOL

One week to go before Darby comes home :)  We got new pictures this morning.  She is changing so fast!!  She seems to be getting fluffier (is that a word??) and CUTER!!  LOL
