New to the forum - First time owning a dog in over 10 years

Hi everyone. Just thought I would introduce myself and my puppy. My name is Josh and my puppy is named Loki. I found this site while looking for information on Golden-doodles and am here to learn about the breed and to become a better owner. I'm sure I will have tons of questions as my puppy grows. Looking forward to meeting everyone and their dogs.

Loki is 10 weeks old and weighs 8.6 kg. He is an F1 Goldendoodle. He has a thick somewhat fleecy looking coat with a poofy head and a smooth snout. I have seen lots of puppy pics where they have the start of long facial hair but Loki does not. I am super curious as what type of coat he will have when he is older. Maybe a guess from some of the experienced owners on this forum?

Cute, cute, cute! You may want to take a look at the group called "Where's the Poodle in my Doodle?" --you might see other pups there that look like Loki. 

This pup clearly takes after the golden retriever side--he has what is called an open face...meaning not a lot of hairy furnishings there. There are other adorable golden doodles who looked like Loki as a baby--they might get a bit curlier and scruffier looking, but not typical doodle looks....He will be a beauty though!

Oh how I want to rub that fluffy fluffy head! What an adorable puppy! I also have not had a dog in 10 years. Max is six months old and I adore him, I now don't know why I waited so long. :)

I know right? His brother had a more doodley look but that fluffy head and thick thick coat was irresistible. He is like teddy bear.

Anyways, I heard that if they don't shed as puppies they have a more dramatic coat change? Loki doesn't shed at all. Does anyone know if this is true? His fur is more like hair really. Very frizzy.
