Nose Color Question

Today while Lani was sitting with me I realized that her nose isn't black like I thought.  It's really a very medium-dark brown.  I asked my mother what color she though Lan's nose was and she said medium-dark brown.  I looked at Lani's lips and they are the same color.  She is a cream colored ALD with these really pretty warm brown eyes.  I have seen pictures of doodles with a rose colored / liver nose but none with Lan's medium-dark brown color.  Has anyone else seen this?

I believe Jane, Rooney, and Stuart ~  ROONEY'S nose is chocolate   :)

My chocolate doodle pups all have chocolate noses--so it does exist but not usually on a cream colored doodle!

I went to your page & looked at all your pictures of your ADORABLE Lani!  She is a cute as a button, no matter what color her nose is!  In her pictures, it looks black to me.  So, I can't really tell.  Did it lighten as she got older you think?

Thank you :)  I love my Lani girl.  I think it might have lightened up a bit.  I have noticed her eyes have lightened up.  Our bulldog Roxie has a jet black nose so I was comparing the color to hers and noticed it was different, lol.  I find it so interesting how colors can vary with noses, eyes, etc...

Hunter has a chocolate brown nose in the winter ad turns black in the summer.  I have no idea why it changes, I thought it was her age but then I realized it was the seasons.  Lani is ADORABLE!!!!

Thank you :)  That is really interesting about Hunter's nose.  I will have to keep a watch on Lani's and see if it changes with the seasons too.

I actually noticed it looking back through photos at the beginning of the summer and then I started to pay attention.  You will have to let me know if Lani's does that to :-)

My Sasha (goldendoodle) started out with a black nose, she was 2 in October.  About 9 months ago her nose started to change color, now its a medium brownish color.   I did  a bit of research and this could be snow nose.
