I know they are not doodle puppies, but these are the babies we saved.. I will be having them at my house for the week....starting Monday.. I am madly in love with them and cried when I saw them today...

Sara and I will be taking care of them until homes are found, they will be UTD on Shots and neutered and spayed.. We will be using the rescue groups name but picking the homes from the applicants are selves... They should be ready to go when I get back from CO..

THis week they will be with me..

yeah that is what I have been told.. my family is less then thrilled with my decision, but Sara knows if it gets too rough for me she will come get them..... I am hoping to do it myself.. I would never take on this responsibility alone but I have a lot of back up  and since they are so little they are not being potty trained so I don't have to get up all night with them... YET..

so cute!  do you know what breed(s) they are?

We don't know anything about the mother or father (s) ..we have never seen any of them.
Yes, my understanding is that because the heat cycle lasts up to 2 or 3 weeks, a litter can have more than one father but no one pup has more than one father.

Sometimes the breeders  test the pups to tell who sired them. Sometimes because they are afraid one breeding won't take they cover their bets with a different sire.

You should be so proud of yourself for saving these sweet babies...AND!!  I love your pictures with all your foster kids !!

I am proud but mostly feel bad that Sara and her husband are doing the bulk work...Sara is sweet and saying we are doing it together but so far it has been them. I just found them ....

That's about to change on Monday..

They are all very cute and very different!  Congratulations and GOOD LUCK!

Thankfully I am just getting my feet wet with what a real foster does with newborn puppies..in no way shape or form could I do it alone......I couldn't maintain the schedule they were on for long without getting sick....but Sara is letting me go with it and if I find I can't keep up she will take them back..so the safety net is huge.......

She has to bathe them a lot....they eat last meal at. 10 PM poop at midnight and our up at 6 am right now......I happen to be watching my nine year old nephew next week and will have to be up at six anyway...

I hope I can do it just for the week......then we will see when I get back from Co.

They're so chubby and cute!  Good job, Jennifer!  I know you'll have a fun week.  Hope Jack likes them.  :)

They are all so adorable and you are a special person to be taking care of them.  Take care of you too!

Good for you!  Cuties for sure.
