We got in a shipment of frozen chicken feet for Riley and Molly the other day and I took a couple of pics. It always makes me laugh at how they end up eating these things. OK yes I guess I am a little weird.
Molly with hers
And camera shy Riley waiting for me to stop so he can tuck into his treat.
He finally ignores me and tucks into his foot as well, As I am sure you can guess, we've had quite a drought here this year. Our whole back yard is brown and crusty.

I think it's funny--with that foot sticking out of her mouth, Riley looks like she just swallowed an entire chicken and is hurrying to hide the evidence!
My kind of weird : )
Chicken feet were one of my mother's secrets to rich soup stock, and she and my sisters used to chew on them afterwards, looking much like Riley and Molly. I was the weirdo who was grossed out, lol.
Boy, Karen, your comment brings back memories from so long ago -- wonderful memories, I might add! My mother and grandmother always added chicken feet to their soup, and matzah balls, too!
eeewwwww! that gives me the heebie jeebies!
As an aside, I just love Riley's beautiful shiny black coat. And Molly looks exactly like Winston in this photo, but with a brown nose. Both your doodles are gorgeous!
Eeeew. LOL
Too funny! Can I ask where you buy those, Andrea?
ewwwww!!!!! I'm sure Banjo would be jealous....not letting him see these adorable pics!
Hmm, chicken feet, this gives me an idea. I have a friend who works at a chicken processing plant I'll have to ask him what they do with the feet. :>) LOL, In that last pic Riley's chicken foot looks like it is trying to crawl away.
Well, believe it or not, I have seen babies chewing on these in restaurants in Chinatown in San Francisco. Supposed to be good for them when teething.
