I cut Oakley's hair for the first time (my first grooming ever!) and I actually like his short hair! How do you think I did?! I used a 1/2 inch blade for his body, scissored his legs and face, and I left his tail alone. Very dramatic change for my 7 month old pup!

You did a wonderful job! He looks great!
Looks great! That's how we have Cocoa cut- the same length all over. I wish I had the courage to do it myself!

I ordered a grooming table online to make things easier! He stood the whole time, he didn't seem to mind. He was so excited when he was able to run around again, though!

He looks awesome! I wonder if he thinks of the world any differently now with his spiffy haircut :P What did you use to hold him still?

Very nice job!!! You will tweak it a little different every time and get a little different but cute look everytime.

Good Job!  I always have cut my now 3 year old, Cash, he has a real curly coat.  My 7 month old, Carter has a finer loose coat, and has yet to get cut.  Cash has always sit and stood for me to cut, I just put an old flat door across a couple of saw horses with a yoga mat so he doesn't slip.  It has worked in the past few years and helps to get him to my level, less back braking for me.  I don't think I am going to be so lucky with Carter she sits the entire time I bathe her, hair cutting is not going to be fun. And I am procrastinating the event that is pass due.

Looks like a different doode! Either way, still handsome!
