Henry, our new pup, came home on Saturday.  My breeder described him best, just a marshmallow of love.  We love him already.  He's just about 8 weeks and has done great with potty training.  Put him in the crate next to my side of the bed and he slept all night till 4:00 am, quick potty break and then back to bed till like 7:30.  We love him already.  Saw a little bounce in him today.  :D

I guess it's time to put all that I have learned on here thus far to work.

Thanks.  I'd love if he looks like Oliver, very handsome dog!!!  How much does Oliver weigh?  Henry is predicted to be 35 to 40 pounds, he was the largest of the litter.  I'm OK with any weight and would even love a little bigger.
He even looks like a Henry. So cute. Have fun, but don't let him out of your sight!

Sooo cute!!!

Oh!!! So cute...I want to cuddle with him.  Love his cute blue blankie!
Oh, he is just adorable!!!!  Have fun.  Sounds like you're off to a great start!
What a sweet baby!! Soooo cute!!
Oh he is so cute!  (I get my some time in  July!).  Can't believe he slep through the night?  DId he awaken you with cries BEFORE he had an accident at 4 a.m. in order for you to take him out?  Was he in a crate near you?  In your bedroom?  I'm thinking I'll probably sleep in the family room next to the crate for the 1st couple of nights.  Can't imagine making it all the way downstairs and outside in the wee hours of the morning to let the pup out!!  Enjoy!

Thanks Gayle.  I have a crate in our family room and put a small one in my bedroom.  I plan on letting him sleep in our room, so that didn't bother me.  The first night, he whined for literally 20 seconds and I talked to him for a sec so he knew I was there and my and hubby talked for like 10 minutes and that was it.  We had a blanket over most of the crate.  He has not gone potty in his crate at all yet, he did start to whine BEFORE and we take him right out and he pee's and came right back in and sleep.  I am obviously VERY HAPPY he's doing so good in the crate at night.  I have put him in the Family Room crate to get my daugther off the bus, give them a bath and he would cry for like 5 minutes then go to sleep.  So, I think he's getting the hang of things.

I bet you can't wait for July!!!  The waiting is the worst part.  It will fly by and he'll be home soon.

You're doing everything right! What a little gem you have!
That is one beautiful pup.  Have a great time.  They grow up so fast!!
