Pet Friendly Hotels

Someone told me that there was a pet friendly hotel in Ocean Beach, California and I can not remember who it was. They said that the hotel is very near the beach and all of the rooms had patios that had a gate to a dog run area. I have been everywhere I can think on the internet and can not find this hotel. Has anyone got any ideas? I am looking also in San Diego and Oceanside!! Thanks for any information or comments!

The Beach is just over a little hill right outside your patio, I would suggest going for the bigger room. The cheapest rooms are very small. The dog run is just past your patio, if you want your area off your patio to be private from other dogs I believe they will put up a makeshift fencing for you, but you must ask for it. I have a video of the dogs playing back there, I will put it up on my page if anyone is interested in viewing it. We had a blast and would do it again any chance we got, they also have a place to rinse/wash your dog and dog towels available all day.

It would be fun to take over the hotel with doodles for a couple of days!!!!! They could romp all day in the run, not to mention the beach :)

Thanks Gina..yes I believe it was you..we were talking about it at Dos Esquelas Park. I pulled it up on line but it says nothing is available...ever?..I am going to call them next. Thanks for the link and information! This site is incredible..I knew if I posted here I would get an answer! I like the idea of the Doodles taking over the hotel!!! What fun that would be! Mine are pooped, first to the pet store this morning and the vet..Sabrina has a rash on her tummy!! Nothing to worry about.. and then I took them to The Soggy Dog and wash, dried and cut them! They look so nice and clean..really ready to jump in the sand at the Ocean!!! Thanks again, and lets see what we can do about setting up a Doodle Romp at the beach!!

When we were trapped in Edinboro after the Doodle Romp the owner of Howlaboloo found several hotels for us using this website.

Many Sheratons take dogs. We were even asked if they could bring a dog bed and fresh dog bowls up to our room! Good luck with that website.
