I saw that CafePress has an 18 month calendar.  But I'm not sure that's better because it costs more and then wouldn't start again until the summer months.  I think that's a harder sell.

It was an honour just to be considered Adina. My mother (proud doodle grandma) has cut Gavin's picture from the calendar two years ago and hangs or on the nail overtop any old calendar she picks up so he is featured every month!

I love this one too, BG.  I love the way Gavin stands fearlessly in the midst of the storm --smiling!!!!  The more photos are posted, the more we can see what a tough job it is to make the selections.  Adina, I can only imagine you must dream doodles while you are putting this together :)

I love this photo because it looks "real" to me. I can tell that Gavin really was standing there in that spot in the snow when the photo was taken. In some of the calendar photos, the photo is beautiful, but it sometimes looks to me like the dogs were photographed in one place and then pasted into a beautiful background. It doesn't look to me like the dogs were really in that location when the photo was taken. Kind of like the way Laurie put Fudge with the apple on the grass here in this discussion, lol.

Thank you for all of the positive comments everyone. Having made the calendar once and having this shot closely considered, I am living proof that with the help of the PG anything is possible. I just take my point and shoot, take some pics with a cute dog and a nice background, submit my best one to the PG and they critique and help me edit. Anyone thinking of trying next year should really join the PG. Those guys are so helpful...and I don't know a pixel from a pixie.
