How often do you let your Doodles out for Potty Breaks?  We generally take Sydney and Olivia out 3 to 4 times a day depending on our schedules.  Is this too much?  Sydney would seem fine going out 2Xs a day but our Olivia usually will Poo 3 or more times a day. (We should all be this healthy, he,he!).  We feed them once in the AM and once in the PM.

Loving the 1-2max poos per day.  Do you remember when they pooped about 8??????  I thought I would die.
Oh yeah. I don't miss those times at all. :-)
Oh, yeah!  Those puppy days!  When we think about getting a third Doodle (and it is tempting), we remember those days and sleepless nights.
Yep, I'm pretty happy about it. :-)
On average our Doods go out five times a day.  Once in a while they'll ask to go out at an "off schedule" time, but that's unusual.  Of course, this assumes that they aren't having on of their "sick tummy" episodes.....then they're out just about every hour.
Oh wow!  Five times a day!  we thought four times was a bit much.  And as for those sick tummy episodes, we had one of those episodes that lasted for three months.  That was our home coming surprise from our vaca in the Caribbean.  Our Vet Tech stayed at our house to Doodle sit.  We're not sure what happened but they sure got into something in the yard.  The four times a day became something like 15 or 20 times a day.  Knock on wood, their tummies have been OK since then and the Canine Caviar kibble we are giving them seems to be making a real difference with their diet.
Banjo is just a bit over a year now.   I take him out about 9 in the morning again around 3 in the afternoon and if he asks to go out again it is usually about 6-7 in the evening.   More often than not he doesn't ask.
3 to 4 times a day sounds like bliss!  I don't know how often Trav really needs to go--he can wait several hours on road trips--but he uses standing by the door and even whining or woofing while there as a way to get my attention, then when I'm at the door, he'll trot off to get a toy, or otherwise try to play.  Credit to him for figuring this out, but it's annoying!  Think I need a revolving door.  :)
Webber and Seda go out at 8AM, 1PM, 5PM and 10-11PM, unless I go somewhere, and in that case they wait until I get home and go then.  I feed them only once a day, at 4PM.  They don't ask, I just take them.  It would be interesting to see if they would ask if I didn't offer??
Calla,in particular, comes near me and then stands at the door to whichever room I'm in with a beseeching look. Believe me I could do without it.
WOW!  Spud and Starlit seem to win the prize for all those breaks.  Before our post, we were thinking that we should weene(sp) Sydney and Olivia down to twice a day.  After hearing from all of you, we would feel too guilty to do that.  3 or 4 times a day isn't too much to ask of us.  We also have a fenced in yard, however, they need to be watched like hawks when we let them out.  They will get into anything they can.  While we have a fence around the perimeter of our yard, we keep putting up small garden fences around all of the trees and shrubs.  Olivia picked up a parasite last year by sticking her nose under one of the trees and getting a beard full of some other animal's droppings.  That episode cost us $800 but at the time we were so upset seeing her so sick.

WOW!   I'm ready this OUT LOUD right now.   Do you think it will work?    DH is unemployed and it started with him being home all day.  But still, many DK members are home and do not go through this.  Of course, I can't say no because usually ONE of them does do something.
