I love this picture!
Dogs know that toddlers are easy marks when it comes to food, lol.
Very true we dont feed Cocoa any human food and she still follows my 4yr old around. She snuck her a peice of orange the other day and I about had a panic attack since we are still dealing with stool problems. So now the dog has to be put in her cage for every meal and snack time.
Their heads follow our forks from the plate to our mouths!!!!! And then, they try to decide who will be the easier mark.
Nope, she sleeps in her closet while we eat dinner, the minute a chair pushes out Daisy appears as she knows it's all done and it's Daddy/Daisy time.
Sometimes we have to push our chair away because we forgot something, she rushes out, looks disgusted and goes back to her closet - hilarious.
Awwww. Poor Daisy...
Ha ha, I know, she's got it so ruff (not) LOL
Riley knows that when we sit down to eat he goes to his crate, that way he gets a treat afterwards. I imagine if there were small people around with goodies in their little hands it would be a whole other story!
I'm familiar with this look...
heh heh heh. That is totally my doodles. Especially when I'm spreading peanut butter on my morning toast.
Nicky - You seriously have Riley in his crate every time you eat? If we did that at our house, poor Bexter would be in there all day long! But then...I have 2 growing kid boys & they eat constantly!!! You all must not each as much as we do! Bexter actually just ignores us because he knows there is no hope! My first dog (much more spoiled because I was much more ignorant) definitely watched us like a hawk!
I hope I can get to this point with Cocoa but if one of us is eating and she is out she jumps at us and crys. So she goes in and out of the cage all day. I try to plan snacks and meal times for her naps and get chores done while she is in there. We dont feed her human food so not sure why she does this... I guess she just smells it.
