Hey all,

Ollie got his 12 week shots yesterday. He was super tired right after, but ate just fine. He slept most of the day. He hasn't eaten this morning yet and just threw up a little (it was only mucus...sorry if this is gross). Should I call the emergency care vet or just wait and see if he is okay?

We be anxiously awaiting an update.  Hope he is doing much better real soon.

Rachel, I'm so sorry that little Oliver continued to be sick! When he continued to throw up, you were very wise to take him in.

Is he at the Vet School?

Cosmo sends his very best Doodle hugs, and we're all wishing and praying for Ollie to be better soon!

Rachel, we went to Houston yesterday and are just getting back into town. I am SO sorry to see this post! i hate that you have had to go thru this because it can be so scary! I'm sure he's going to be OK -- he just HAS to be! I think I gave you my cell in a private message, so PLEASE call me if you need me!!

Keeping you close in thoughts Rachel and keeping positive that Ollie will gain strength quickly <3

Shelby and I are sending hugs to both you and Ollie.  He's in good hands.... and I'm sure he'll be at 100% full energy really soon!
Okay so after Ollie got into the emergency center, they gave him an IV, did blood work (his white blood cell count was high) , and then I just waited...all day long. I eventually called them for the second time and asked about Ollie. They said that he was doing better. His fever went down, he did not throw up while he was there, he was more active, they fed him, and he was drinking water. They also started him on an antibiotic.

Doris went with me to visit him and to keep me sane lol. When we came in he seemed pretty lively (chasing a fly, tail wagging, and just plan adorable) I eventually decided to take him home and I am now keeping a close eye on him. He is napping next to me at the moment (I think he is just exhausted from all that has taken place). If he does well through the night and I don't need to take him back in, I will call my vet first thing in the morning and try and get him in just to do a follow up check up.

Thanks for all the support...keep praying that he does well through the night and that he is all better.
