Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
It's been a minute since I've posted here but I wanted to share this story with you all.
About 6 months ago we added to our doodle clan. I had come across this dodo impact video of this beautiful golden doodle puppy that had been abused by her owner. At 10 weeks she had been kicked so had her knee was shattered and her leg had to be amputated.
We were very lucky to be grated her new custodians and loving parents but the big news here is that she will be starring in the Animal Planets Puppy Bowl this Feb 4th. She is very happy and healthy now and her missing leg does not hold her back from being a regular puppy one bit.
I hope you'll all get the chance to see her perform. It WAS a lot of work on us and her both.

It's the January 22 issue, out now.
Watching the Puppy Bowl and rooting for your beautiful doodle!
christine & Nala :)
So happy that Sophie was rescued and now in a wonderful, caring home! She is beautiful! Watching her now on the Puppy Bowl! Go, Sophie!
Right before coming here and reading this, I was reading about Harry Connick Jr adopting one of the puppies in the puppy bowl. I had a a miniature schnauzer that had been hit by a delivery truck and lost his leg. It didn't slow him down at all. He could run as fast with 3 as he could with 4. Congratulations on your new family member, she is adorable.
She is darling. Thank you for giving her a new loving home.
We kept switching back to the Puppy Bowl just to see beautiful Sophie! Cute story with her working with Buttons (beautiful pup too!)
Congrats to Sophie and team Fluff, Puppy bowl champs!
So sweet you took her in, such a terrible beginning she had. I can't imagine how anyone can be so cruel.
Well crap, I'm just now reading this so I didn't get to see her in the puppy bowl. We can't really have that on in the house unless we lock the girls in another room, lol. They just get too excited when dogs are on the TV. Lucy charges the TV and tries to jump up so I didn't even bother turning it on. I'm sure I'll probably be able to find it on line somewhere. Congrats on your new Sophie. I hope you will share her Therapy Dog journey here with us as well.
I Tivo'd it yesterday & just sat down & watched it. Really neat to have Sophie on there! Good luck to your family.
