Raw Chicken Question

I caught Phoebe licking, not biting, a piece of raw chicken that I must have dropped en route to the garbage can while starting dinner.  How concerned should I be?  The piece was fully in tact when I picked it up--no bite marks--but I am so worried because it was raw.  Any advice?

I wouldn't worry about it a bit. Lots of people feed their dogs raw chicken parts. Phoebe should be fine.

Should be no problem at all.  My son eats mostly raw meat (but not chicken or pork) and he is quite healthy.  Now, what the dogs eat, that is something else all together.  Found a baby mouse in Harpo's mouth this morning.

no problem at all, they can handle raw meat with no problems. i feed a raw diet and my dog and cats are healthy!

If it was safe enough for you to eat it was certainly fine for her. I feed some raw foods as well. Checked is a fav around my house.
