Referral for a Reputable Goldendoodle Breeder?

We are a couple living up in the hills of Silverlake (Los Angeles) with a 2 year old daughter (3 in July!).  We've been searching for a Goldendoodle based on the recommendation of a physician friend who says they're very smart, trainable,  and good with kids.  Does anybody have recommendations for good breeders in the area?  Normally we'd rescue a dog, but our daughter is a toddler and we'd like to optimize kid friendliness.

Also, any opinions about F1 puppies vs. multi-generational puppies?

We have a big/secure yard, dog run, stay at home parent, in home trainer, and lots of love.  Our puppy would be an inside dog with outside access at his/her leisure, LOL.  Also, while we've been searching, we lost our 12 year old rescue puppy, Sammie, last week so we'd love to find a new forever family member soon.  Thanks for taking the time to help us out and have an amazing day.

Hi!  We are neighbors.  I live in Montecito Heights right across the 110 fwy :)

Unfortunately when I was looking for a golden doodle I didn't find any that were close to Los Angeles.  I am not sure how much you are home but there is a special needs golden doodle in need of a home in Glendale.  Check out the first page and scroll down.  Not sure how well a special needs dog would do with a toddler tho.

How do you have an in home trainer can I ask?

Most private rescues, including the DRC whose dogs are listed here on the main page, will not adopt to families with children under 10 anyway. :-)

I don't think the F1 vs. F1b vs. Multigen matters except if there is a particular puppy or a set of puppy parents you like more when comparing breeders or breeder litters.
