Does your doodle have a favorite spot to get scratched?  Webster loves his nose scratched - his nose!  His head, throat, neck - they are all okay but his FAVORITE spot is his nose and moustache.  My husband says that it is because Webster is a truffle hunter and his nose gets itchy from all his digging.

Charlotte's favorite spot is her front lower leg and foot.  She lays her foot on my lap and wants me to pet her leg and foot.  Almost like you would stroke a child and reassure him that everything is okay.

Jack's belly, he will come to me roll over and curl his paws up for me to rub his belly!!

Guinness likes his belly rubbed the best....but for Murph it's definitely his nose and "snout".

Quincy's favorite spot is the rump scratch, he will sit with his behind hitched up on the couch and his front feet on the floor and present his rump, I swear he would stay there for hours if you were willing to scratch that long.

LOL.....Quincy that's quite a pose!   Banjo loves the rump rub too.  Anytime we're sitting around with one leg crossed over the other he takes advantage of that "dangling" foot for a "freebie" pushing his rump back and forth under your heel.

Murph is definitely a butt guy too. He actually backs up to people if he finds a sucker....and he definitely takes advantage of his rump being at arm rest height.

[Karen, Jasper and Jackdoodle]

Jackdoodle's "sweet spot" is right above his tail, like Quincy & Banjo he loves getting a good butt scratch!

Other favorite places are his face and his sides.

Halas really likes any kind of pets.  But he seems to especially like sitting on my lap and having his shoulders rubbed and scratched.

Duncan loves when i stroke his cheeks (jowels) right where they meet his neck. I scratch each side simultaneously while cupping his face in my hands. He loves that!

[Lisa, Daisy & Dexter]

Daisy loves her morning massage, a full half hour every day and will come over once or twice a day for a hug but she is not a "touch me here or pet me there" kind of girl. I have a neighbor who's dog comes over to just get petted, under your hand she goes, pet me, pet me, pet me....Daisy is nothing like that, she in fact is the opposite, she is more a "don't touch me unless invited" girl.

Daisy is all about PLAY...throw this ball, tug this toy, chase me for this or that. That is her happiness.

Don't get me wrong, I still force myself on her....who can resist that face?!

[Camilla and Darwin]

I love that they both have such unique spots they like to be pet. Darwin is pretty standard, he loves behind the ears.

[Allyson, Peri & Taquito]

Peri's is her neck.  She raises her head up for us to scratch it and yawns the whole time :)

[Joyce & Wilson]

Wilsons favorite is his armpits!  He'll just lay on his back and stretch his front legs straight up and enjoy the armpits getting scratched.
