I just saw that Rudy was adopted!! For some reason, that guy haunted my thoughts and if we didn't have three already, I would have driven to FL and got him myself. I talked to my husband about it more than once. Although the stories are usually a little sad, his struck a nerve (maybe because I turned 50 this year?). So glad that someone saw how special he was.

I didn't know his story but I actually find the lion cut to be impressive! Of course, not if you are giving a dog up for adoption. There was another story in the 'net not long ago about a doodle with a lion cut that scared all the neighbors. :)
I'm always glad for a happy doodle rescue story. Our "foster fail" occurred when we knew it would take months to get Wayne ready for a new home. You just can't keep a dog in your family for weeks/months without forming an attachment.
His coat is growing back beautiful ... way to go Rudy. You worked your way right into their hearts! Many thanks for fostering and adopting.
I LOVE the story/pics. Rudy is still making me get a little teary but now they are happy tears. Karma has a way of making itself known.
Awww that made me cry! How touching!
Could someone please cut and paste at least what she wrote?I can see the pics but cant read the words.
Just looked at him yesterday. What a relief. Glad he won her heart.
Ahhh I see it all there now. Thank YOU
Oh what a tear jerker! NICE!
I couldn't see the words on FB either!! I just love it!!!!!!!!! sometimes it is just meant to be and that red bed just proved it!
What a happy story! Love that Rudy and his red bed will be together forever.
Thank you for posting this! This makes my heart sing - I am so happy for Rudy. A seizure disorder can be a bit scary for the uneducated, but typically can be controlled. Even with breakthrough seizures, they aren't something to be feared. I am so glad that his foster family fell in love with him. This is one boy that I have thought about so often.
That is wonderful, bless Rudy and his wonderful new family.
