SLIDESHOW requests!

OK, guys, I give up! We had to scrap the "Back to school" slideshow because there was only one photo submitted (Thank you DonMarie!). This weeks theme is "Camera Shy Doodles". Every single person on this site should have a picture to tag for this one! shy17 is the tag.

There are so many of you that take photos that would be perfect...if only the Doodle would LOOK at you! If you have a dog that turns their head everytime you get the camera out, this slideshow is for you! This can include dogs looking at something else completely, blurry heads because they turned them, eyes closed, pretty much anything if they are refusing to look at the camera..lol!

Im grasping at straws folks and running out of themes- please send me your suggestions! And if you are tired of the slideshow or just don't care- let me know that too!

Here are the upcoming themes. You can tag your photos at any time and have them ready.

Oct 8- Tongues out!... tongues17  This is any photo you have of your happy Doodles with their tongues hanging out- not a tough theme to get a shot of . Happy, tired, hot... whatever makes their hang out

Oct 22- Orange... orange17   Orange can be the color of their collar or bandana, the color of their toy, pumpkins in the photo or just the beautiful fall colors outside. 

Nov 5- Favorite Toy... toy17 Does your Doodle have a favorite toy or "baby" as some of us call them? Is there one special toy that they don't destroy? This is the place for a photo of your precious Doodle and their prize possession

Nov 19- Running...run17 Running Doodles can look so graceful....or so clumsy. Show me your best photo of your dog running

Dec 3- team Spirit... team17 Does your Doodle root for a favorite team? Football, hockey or baseball...any team will do whether its national or just a local high school team. DO you have a photos of them wearing a team shirt or playing with a team toy? Anything will do!

Dec 17- Holiday celebration....holiday17   Photos of your dogs preparing for or celebrating Christmas or Hanukah or any holiday they celebrate at this time of year. They can be dressed or naked for this slideshow. Looking pretty or behaving badly.

Dec 31- New Year Celebration...newyear18 This one will probably start late in order to allow everyone to participate. Tag photos of your Doodle and their New Years celebration. Whether they are conked out or stay up late partying, I want to see!

Jan 14- Home...  home18  Show us where your Doodle lives! We are an international website so I want to see what your home looks like in the different parts of this country or any other country. Take a photo of your Doodle in front of your house or any kind of landmark of where you live.

Jan28- Snow Doodles...snow17  I just LOVE photos of Doodles in the snow! Its my favorite and thats probably because we get no snow photos here in Florida. Show me those beauties playing or posing in the snow

HOW DO YOU GET YOUR PHOTO INTO THE SHOW?

If you like visuals, use her tutorial.  Otherwise, try the instructions below...

1-- Upload your photo to the main photo page or your own page.

2-- In the 'tag' section of the photo put in the tag that corresponds with the slide show theme (see list above).

It's quite easy, actually.

Can we have a slideshow of photos we thought we wanted to submit to the calendar, but didn't think it would "cut the mustard"  or is that muster LOL

Here's a request from Michigan...can we do the snow theme in January...we don't always get snow in December...that's why the song "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" was written...because sometimes our Christmas up north is brown  :(  So if you move that theme into January, I'll bet we will have some of that white stuff...not always...but fingers crossed.

And by the way miss Lori...I love the slideshow...it makes me think more about getting out with my dogs and having fun!  Please don't take it away...I will think of more themes!  I do not see a Christmas celebration theme...lights, bulbs, trees, stockings...you know that kinda stuff...candy canes.

How about doodles on the bed, or on the couch, or on the ottoman?  Or on their bed?  Show us their bed!  I like that!  Maybe their bed is the floor...who knows...

How about doodles with a hat on...if you can't get the hat to stay it can be beside them...or somewhere in the picture.

How about doodles in front of your house!  Yes...I love that...we can see where our doodles get to live!

Because you asked, the show themes have been updated. I didn't make one specifically for leaves because thats what the "orange" theme is for, Fall colors, pumpkin, leaves...

Not sure that many people put hats on their Doodle. I know you and I do but we are trying to attract the masses...Lol   If Im wrong PLEASE let me know!!! Show me some samples and we will add a slideshow.

Thats adorable! But I know that my girls and probably others, cannot wear hats because of the shape of their heads. They can wear party hats that sit on top but not actual hats. They don't have enough "head" to keep a hat on their head. :(

Yes, I thought if they can't get a hat on ... have the hat at least in the picture...simple!  Same with dogs in trees...not all of them will willing climb the tree like Nancy's Clancy & Ned...LOL...so the furkids can be beside the tree, behind the tree, leaning on the tree...what wouldn't probably be cute if they were peeing on the tree..or beside the tree...just a thought.
