What was your favorite song as a teenager?... You know, the one that drove your parents and siblings CRAZY!

My friend just made a GREAT CD for me with lots of my favorite current songs...then... right in the middle she threw in "I Think I Love You" by the Partridge family...It just cracked me up.  Even though I was only like 7 or 8 yrs old at the time. I totally remember the song. One of my friend's older sisters had it and we played it DAY AND NIGHT!

I think I'm going to upload it to my page....lol

I was (and still am) a Beatles fan, so I loved anything they did.  However, the song that drove my parents crazy was "Light my Fire".  My brother and I were trying to write down the lyrics, so we played it over and over and over...
I got hooked on the music from Jesus Christ, Superstar, and my mom was totally against me listening to that record. (yes, record)
The Archies!
The song with Honey, Honey, Candy Girl was "Sugar,Sugar" by the Archies.  The number one single of 1969----compliments of Google Search.
Um... "Clocks" by Coldplay, and "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt. My family hated (still hates) the latter because of me.
I bought both those CD's.  I still love those songs.
Camilla - :-zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz you are not "dating" yourself young lady! Well not the same way as everyone else. This is even newer than my daughters favorites. Ugh, I feel old.
I LOVE "The Scientist". Man, Coldplay is the best. :-)
and you two Caitlin, knock it off!
I know...it cracks me up...I still consider those to be current...haha. and I also agree with Camilla, I love Coldplay. Spies, lost....I have a lot of their music.  I think some of it is on my page.
Hey, we did date ourselves, just in a different way. And I didn't see any rules saying that younger folk couldn't post. LOL!
