SOLD!

Just a quick update...we got an offer on our house last night, countered, and they accepted it today.  3/30 close date (YIKES).  I'll pack up and park the U-Haul for a few weeks while I finish out my notice for my job.  Ex-DH (judge signed decree on 2/21) is getting an apartment so Rua & I will stay there for a few weeks (that way he gets to see his Rua).  Then, off to CA!

Dori, this is good and bad news as I know how you feel to leave a dream home you finally built. I know for me it was a tremendous relief to be rid of the pressure, maintance, worrying and financial upkeep and once I locked that door for the last time, I felt lighter and freer as I hope you will as well.
However, I love having had the experience of acomplishing it and also of being done with that chapter of life. There is always something better waiting ahead, even if we can't see it right away. I wish for you to feel that sense of freedom once you lock that door for the last time. Good luck.
