Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I have been searching for another goldendoodle.  I already have two, and just can't get enough.  So far I can't find any in my area, which is what I prefer this time, so I can pick it out.  My other two came from kentucky and iowa and I'm in Arizona.  I would love to have a red one, or a chocolate female F1B standard.   Stop me!

Two was definitely the best thing I ever did.  They are so close and love each other so much.  I really don't think I should try to swing 3.  Everything times 3.....vet bills, groomer, food, and like someone said, it's hard to take 3 dogs out and about.

You should definitely get a second one though. :)

Jane ..... you can always foster!  That is what convinced me that I absolutely could not do 3.  It is fun while it lasts, but does add a whole different dynamic to the house.  Sort of the best of both worlds.
YES!!!!!!!
We always have someone come to our home to care for our dogs if we are going to be out of town. Getting a dog sitter for two is possible... three is much, much harder. When my daughter moved back home we suddenly had four, then our son left his with us for about 6 weeks... that made five. I think two is perfect. But that is for us... Everyone is different.
The ad on your blog is for an emergency vet clinic, do you think they are trying to tell you something. :>)
hahaha - thought the same thing!

LOL, I know the feeling. I am always on the lookout for a doodle to add, despite the fact that it's really not a good time for us at all. Sometimes it's hard to resist!

I love having two....can't quite imagine having three.  I think it would hard for me to give them all everything they need in terms of exercise, training, and "lovin".  But that's just me.

Rather than get another dog, how about just getting more involved with your current two Doodles?   Do you do therapy work?  How about training for competitive Obedience or Agility.  How about Tracking.  These activities might satisfy the itch you have more than getting a third dog.

SORRY... No can do!  You're in good company!  NUTS? Nope - just in love with doodles!  I know exactly how you feel!  LOL

Um, can you say Doodleholics Annonymous?

J/k, my guy just turned 1 and I am secretly searching for a chocolate goldendoodle girl.

Jane, I know of two breeders here in AZ if you are interested. Just message me. :)

PS - you may be crazy, but they are wonderful!
