Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I have been searching for another goldendoodle.  I already have two, and just can't get enough.  So far I can't find any in my area, which is what I prefer this time, so I can pick it out.  My other two came from kentucky and iowa and I'm in Arizona.  I would love to have a red one, or a chocolate female F1B standard.   Stop me!

Jane, I think it's almost like deciding to have another baby isn't it?  I know for me, two is my max. both in babies and in doodles. I know I just don't have the time, money, patience, energy or enough arms and hands to take good care of 3. Knowing that and given the fact that I love the two I have too much to take anything away from their lives as they know it, I would have to really consider how adding a third would affect them too, as I know how having 3 would affect me. I think it would take the joy out of doodle ownership just by the amount of work involved in taking care of 3. But that is just my humble opinion.

You're not nuts.... I have a golendoodle and a labradoodle and I am looking into #3 as well.  I was thinking of a rescue thou,  I don't want to do the puppy thing again.  Oliver is 1 yr old and Sasha is a 20 months, both are house trained now and at times its difficult to take both out but with 3 as someone mentioned it would be next to impossible.

Ahhhh.  So much to think about.  I think I've put it to rest for now.  I would like to be more involved with my girls, and plan to be as soon as time allows.  I would love for them to become Therapy dogs, but I think Lucy is a bit too timid, and Ethel is too young.  She will need more training.  They do have the experience though, because I take them to my dad's care home every weekend and they just love all the attention they get there.

Thank you all for your wonderful opinions, experiences, and caring thoughts.  I took them all into consideration.
