To all those who have called my dog a "mutt"...

Hey,

so my new neighbors have taken up to calling my doods "big mutts" and making comments about not understanding why anyone would spend money on a "mutt" and they just don't understand all the "hype with mixed breeds". So I played dumb and ignored it but got on Amazon and ordered this as our new door mat! (It's attached because I'm on my iPad sorry)! It just arrived a little bit ago and my neighbors have been rolling there eyes since I just put it out. I also got a magnet for my fridge just for kicks and giggles.

I call JD a "mutt" myself, and I consider it the highest compliment, since I'm also a "mutt". :)

I'm a mutt as well and sometimes call them my furry mutts, some people view it as an insult- it's more the attitude behind the comments that is obnoxious, but I haven't heard boo about my "over priced, over hyped big mutts" since this went out :)

Love the mat! Plus I adore the word mutt--I proudly consider myself a mutt--I may have to invest in a mat like that.

When people ask what kind of dog Ruby is I answer; "A mutt--like me!"

Please please do not tell Skadi and Elli that they are mutts...it would be like telling them their is no Santa Claus or that they are adopted!  This would put them both into a spiralling funk... I will take all this to my grave and protect my darlings ego's. Anyway, I thought that they would only be mutts if someone did not know the origin of the mother and father.  Personally I prefer the term Half-Breed, or half and half, or the best of the best, or two perfect kinds.
