Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hoping I can get a bit of help.
My golden doodle, Maggie, is tearing apart all of her toys. I have had to take away all of the stuffed animals because she wants to shred them and eat them.
I have purchased her some kongs and a couple nylabones. She will chew on the nylabones, but can't be bothered too much with the kongs.
Any other toys out there that will stand up to a chewer!
thanks in advance for the help!!!!

Just this morning I watched this video and I posted that the next time someone posted looking for good chew toys to get the energy out of their puppies I was going to post this link. This is one of the cutest videos I've seen in a long time! Here you go:
Thank you! I agree, she will play with the Kong only when it is stuffed with frozen ricotta! I use to have labs who just loved to cuddle with there stuffed friends. Maggie, is just set on killing them. I will try with stuffed toys when she is a bit older.
I just ordered an antler bone from Antlers Pantry...ordered the whole type...hoping that will work. I have heard bully sticks are messy and smelly.
Thanks.
Peri is a chewer - we do not have ANY stuffed toys in the house - it is like flushing $$ down a toilet.
We have deer and elk antlers for Peri (www.antlerpantry.com)
We also like the Orbee bones - sometimes I stick Peanut b. in the holes and they keep Peri occupied for at least 30minutes (see photo below). Also the West Paw brand has good toys for big chewers!
Thanks Everyone for such great information. Off to shop!!!
Antler just arrived...she is loving it! West paw was one of the places I was going to try.
Thanks again.

My frenchies are power chewers and the only thing that seems to work for them that keeps them happy are Nylabones (the ones for aggressive chewers). If you saw the bones in my house you would think I had wolves!. You do have to watch the ends of them because they can chew off the nubs or chew down the ends so that pieces could break off. I inspect them about once a week and clip or file off the questionable areas. I have not tried antlers????
Interestingly they have been respecting Zach's stuffies - his stuffies are now 3 weeks old and are still "alive". Prior to this no stuffy has lived beyond 24 hours.
