vet recommendations -northeast cincinnati

Hi,
My family is anxiously awaiting the arrival of a labradoodle puppy we are picking up mid june. Does anyone have a vet near us they would recommend? I would like to set up an appointment for when we have the puppy home. I live in the Blue Ash , Montgomery area.

Hi Gina, I also suggest joining the Cincinnati group. There is an Ohio group also. I'm in Batavia, so I'm sure you don't want to travel that far, but I love my vet. He is Dr. Timothy Fouts at Hillside Small Animal Hospital here in Batavia. Good luck finding someone closer. Are you getting your puppy from a breeder? We have a 5 month old goldendoodle and just love her. Can't believe I've lived 43 years without a doodle!!!! Good luck and make sure you post pictures when you get your little doodle!

I live on the NW side and have a terrific vet over here. Samson's sister is on your side of town. His name is Dr. Hill, I'll ask her the name of the practice and the location (I think Blue Ash) when I see her at work today. I know that she's used the same vet for many, many years. and loves him. Her daughter is a vet (in Columbus) and loves this vet also. By the way, the emergency vet that I would use in Cincinnati is CARE in Blue Ash.

HIs name is Dr. Peter Hill at the Pet Care Hospital in Blue Ash (on Blue Ash Road) and another location. He is also the Newport aquarium veterinarian.

Thank you so much!! We are really looking forward to getting our new puppy. Trying to agree on a name right now -he is an apricot boy but until we see his personality more it's hard to settle on a name. Samson is a great name.I will check out Dr Hill. That is quite close to us which is nice and I appreciate the advice on CARE as well.
