Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I want to thank you all for the enjoyment and learning I get from DK. And for the support on getting my deposit back. I have not found out I have to have both shoulders replaced, the 1st on March 5 and the 2nd 3 months later. Since I can not pick up the coffee pot with either arm, it seems unwise to get a puppy now-as much as I want the company at this time. I figure by 4-6 weeks after the 2nd surgery I will be ready-I should post a picture of the extra bedroom, it looks like Petco exploded. So I am starting to look for a pup that will be ready around the middle to end of June. .Brittany, I am looking into your breeder and others. Would love to here from anyone with good ideas. I live in Michigan, but would be able to fly or drive to pick my puppy up. Tired of waiting, but need to do what is best. Thank you-reading DK will make being stuck at home a lot more fun

See, as hard as it hurts it was a good thing this puppy did not work out! I wish you all the luck in the search for your new puppy! Good luck with the surgery and a speedy and easy recovery! Let me know if you have any questions about the breeder, privately of course!

Pam, good luck with both of your surgeries and getting a puppy when you are better.  Keep us posted.

I'm glad you were able to get your deposit back! It seems the situation worked out for the best! Good luck on your surgeries and recovery, I can't wait to see your new puppy in the future! He/She will be worth the wait!!

You have made a really great decision Pam for both you and that sweet puppy you will be sure to have real soon.  Wishing you all the very best for successful surgeries and speedy recovery.  Please keep us posted...we will be thinking of you:)

Thank you, My reward for  getting through the next few months will be my doodle.

A very well deserved reward!

Everything happens for a reason......sometimes we just don't understand at the time. As sad and disappointed with this puppy not working out....  with surgery upcoming you dont need the added stress of taking care of a puppy and maybe hurting your recovery.....There is the perfect puppy out there for you, its just neither you or your baby is ready yet....Best of luck with everything....looking forward to seeing pics of your future puppy!
