WE MADE IT!!

Today is my Goldendoodle baby boy's first birthday!!!! Here are some pic's. One when he was 8 weeks old, and a couple of more recent ones at his huge size. I can't believe my puppy is a 1 yr old now. It has gone by so quickly. This rambunctious sweet natured boy has given us SO much joy in the last 10 mths since we got him. We certainly had our moments of frustration with his puppy biting which we never thought would end. I would like to thank all of you who helped us thru that stage and all of the other stages such as, biting, nipping, humping, counter surfing, teething, potty training, upset stomach, sleeping, etc etc. We made it through all of these and we are now in the DIGGING stage which is quite nasty as we are entering a raining season!! All I know is that we love him like one of our kids and pray for many many more wonderful birthdays. Thks everyone.

Its about time you took more pictures! First of all, your pictures support my argument--" Canadian Doodles are the Most Gorgeous" What a handsome young man you have and such a hoot too. HAPPY BIRTHDAY THOMAS!!!

I remember when I first signed on in January I loved to follow your stories. Always reading what your puppy was up to, knowing that we were only a little more than 2 months behind you. I would measure and weigh Spud and he just was not going to be the size of big old Thomas. Time sure is flying by................................. Have a happy 2nd year.

He is a handsome beast and thks. The reason I havn't taken more pictures in the last 3 months is because the little darling chewed up the charger cord and the cord that attaches to my computer. It was a very "subtle" chew... so much so that we did not even notice it and couldn't figure out why we could not send pictures to the computer anymore until my son came home and saw the tiniest slice in the wire. My two son's bought me something called a FLIP camera for my birthday in July and I took the above photos then. I just figured out tonight how to turn the videos into still shots so I could post a few. Technically challenged? Oh yes. Hope your cutie pie Spud is doing well. He is also gorgeous and I am sure you are enjoying him as much as we enjoy the "Tom Cat" (his knickname)

Haha...you're ahead of me. Got a FLIP for my birthday recently and haven't gotten as far as learning still shots. But isn't the camera great?

And of course...HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY THOMAS! Gorgeous dood!

What a handsome goldendoodle!! His coloring at 8 weeks is very similar to my Allie. She is 7 weeks old in this picture. I hope she grows to be as georgeous as he is!

Oh yes, he was an apricot doodle at 8 weeks-we picked him from a litter of ten pups for his colouring. He has lightened so much though but is still a golden colour-he looks lighter in the pictures than he actually is. Allie will surely be beautiful-I see she has the same wavy hair as Thomas had as a pup. This is what we looked for in our pup- it grows into a beautiful fleecy, wavy, non shedding coat.
