weather putting a damper on my pups arrival tomorrow

My mini GD puppy is scheduled to arrive at Laguardia airport tomorrow afternoon at 5:00pm

This storm we're having is already making me a nervous doodle parent!
He's flying from Toronto to Chicago O'Hare, lays over for two hours - then to LGA NY.

I really hope he makes it as he's a bday surprise for my wife, and her bday happens to be tomorrow also :-/

I was just telling my husband this whole story and how differently men think. NO offense, Larry :) Larry wanted this pup for his wife's birthday, but ended up spending the whole day on this mess AND opted not to take his wife with him to the airport. This means she was left home all night alone on her birthday with no reason why and now he is going to show up in the middle of the night with a puppy! Oh my!! All I can think is that puppy had better be pretty darn cute :)

Larry, we have all helped and stood behind you. I think you should stay on hand, that is if your wife does not kill you, and handle all future questions any newbies have like:

1) Should I fly my puppy to me from the breeder's?

2) Should I plan elaborate gifts involving a puppy?

Firsthand experience is always best :) All I want for my birthday is for my husband to take a day off work and spend it with me. Men really are from Mars and Women are from Venus :) Good luck. I hope your wife falls in love with that puppy and you all stay home for awhile and rest. I can't take any more days like this on DK :)

This has been THE most suspenseful DK post I have ever read. It was like being glued a doodle-version of "Argo".  Someone has got to sell the rights to this story to Animal Planet. If Ben Affleck could star in it (and get Jennifer Garner's reaction to this classic surprise gone haywire story) I'd take a front row seat.
