weather putting a damper on my pups arrival tomorrow

My mini GD puppy is scheduled to arrive at Laguardia airport tomorrow afternoon at 5:00pm

This storm we're having is already making me a nervous doodle parent!
He's flying from Toronto to Chicago O'Hare, lays over for two hours - then to LGA NY.

I really hope he makes it as he's a bday surprise for my wife, and her bday happens to be tomorrow also :-/

I place the blame on myself for not driving to Toronto last night!

The breeder was told when they placed the pup on the plane that the other flight was not cancelled!

Anyway, regardless the blame - I need to find the best solution for the puppy.

I'll be by a computer in the next 20-30 min - anyone who can/wants to help please friend me and message me - I would love to speak to you guys

No Laurie, we all know you are not a quack!!!!! (Ah-hum) This is so amazing to be able to help this little pup. I agree, this is not a very responsible breeder!!!! What was she/he thinking? AND what was the airlines thinking by accepting this pup anyway, knowing the conditions way ahead of any of us probably!!!! I am upset this was even allowed from Toronto

I don't know about Oprah but if it were one of my dogs I would probably have a local news crew down there doing a story about how the airlines are keeping dogs safe in this weather.  Too late for that at this point though.

I can't believe the breeder would have shipped that puppy if you had emphatically told her not to!

If either leg of the flight was cancelled? How could you know that in this weather? This is a puppy not a bracelet!!  Who's going to feed that puppy several times a day and keep it hydrated? It's already under stress and now it's sitting in a cargo area somewhere… Laurie, I agree with you (and you're not a quack)!  Hoping someone can help!
