LOL
Who is that gal who writes all the blogs....hmmmm what's her name, I forget.
Oh my, I just got home from my grueling 12hr shift and this is what I see. Lol, Laurie have you been talking to my husband? I work full time but the 12hr shift rotation gives me lots of day off. In a 2 week period I work 7 of the 14 days. My DK time is made possible by good time management skills. I don't watch TV much and if I do I am DKing at the same time, I just returned 4 books to the library after renewing them 3 times, 2 still unread. DK is so much more entertaining than most books I read. My house is never clean, just certain sections at a time. I like to keep it at the point where I would only be mildly embarrassed and not totally mortified when people drop by unexpectedly. I would really like to be a stay at home like some people but that is a few months off. I walk Quincy for an hour at least once and twice on nice days. He does need to be brushed a bit more often than I actually do it but he doesn't seem to mind.
Running back and forth to the computer while doing housework is great exercise and I highly recommend it.
Keeping my laptop in the same room as the TV also let me spend time with DH, he likes to watch TV and I like to DK, as long as we are in the same room that's quality time.
I'm in the process of getting my son packed as he is moving to Edmonton on Friday and he is pretty good at the feigned incompetence thing. I will now have less laundry and less cleaning to do so I'll have even more time to spend on DK. BTW, I have a new game ready to go as soon as I have some time to devote to it. Some people get a bit testy when you post a game and the disappear.
Now I have to go spend some time with Quincy, pack a lunch and get a uniform ready for work tomorrow and I think I'll throw in a load of laundry too. Then there are some last minute things to get packed, gee, it's no wonder I'm tired.
