Jack is not really getting anything from me other then a food deyhdrator so I can make him home made jerky. My mom got him some toys.

I want to get Molly Rose Christmas Presents.. obviously not for her since she is oblivious to the holiday. I want to make it special for my mom. My mom's life has turned around totally since getting her first puppy at the age of 70. My mom has a whole reason for living now. My mom just adores her baby more then I can ever have imagined.

My mom being 70 has had many Christmas's and she really can and does buy what she needs wants or thinks she wants..

I want to do sentimental things for my mom. Do you have any ideas. I am still pretty weak and I am not near my computer so pulling up ever picture of Molly and creating something is not something I can do this year.... but what are you doing??? Do you have any ideas you can think of that I can do for my mom?

Bexter is getting a Colts jersey and knucklebones and bully sticks.  Make sure you get an ornament for her too!

I got this done for my mom, This is Molly

I don't know why it is blurry on here, it is not blurry at all in person, I ordered her a few things but I am not going to say right now just in case she snoops on here

Ha Ha!!

I don't have any good ideas right now, but my mom has been ill since the beginning of July and she has been away from our golden retriever Tucker (who lives in Bermuda, where she lives) while staying in the states for her treatments and rehab so for Christmas (since she is still in the rehab and can't see Tucker yet) I made her a blanket on Shutterfly with photos of Tucker (and included some of the granddog Parker of course). The blanket came out quite nice. Hope you think of something!

Here's the link to the one on Shutterfly. The fleece seems like a really snuggly option!

Yah I chose the fleece because it was machine washable! The other one isn't! lol. They came out quite nice..i think my mom will like hers and I also made one for my sister....maybe someone will make one for me! haha

I think I've narrowed my DSL(Doodle Shopping List) to a XL dog bed and some bully sticks.

I really have not given it much thought because everyday is Christmas for my doodles... they are spoiled rotten and I always bring home presents for them.  I will probably buy them each a toy and probably enroll them in a agility class.

Agility class is a great gift for both the dogs and you!!

Seventeen years ago, when I moved to North Carolina from Michigan after graduating from college, my then fiance and I were literally living paycheck to paycheck and had no money to buy Christmas gifts for each other let alone family members.  I went to a craft store that was going out of business and bought an unfinished wood trinket box, a bottle of stain and 2 bottles of craft paint for $5.00.  I stained the box and painted a design on top of it.  Then I took a bunch of small pieces of paper and just wrote down different memories I had of things my mom had done or we had done together over the past 23 years and I put them in the box and I sent it to my mom in Michigan.  She said she cried when she read all of the pieces of paper and that it was the best gift she'd ever gotten.

When she passed away a few years ago, I found the box.  Inside the box were not only the pieces of paper I had written to her but pieces of paper that she had added with her memories to me.  I cried when I read all the pieces of paper and it was the best gift I've ever gotten.
