I am getting ready to place an order for ID tags for my two doodle girls.  I was wondering what other doodles have on their tags.  Address?  How many phone numbers?  Anything else?  Thanks for any feedback!

I do not have her name on the tags as someone who found her would know her name and she may be more willing to go with them. I have my cell number and $$REWARD$$. My friend's dog was lost and returned and the person who brought her back said that it was because a reward was offered.
Gracie Doodle has three tags on her. I had them all made in pink and the main one is a heart on a pink enamel steel disk with the info on the back. I have the large size to get all the info on it. I have two sets because she has her water collar and her nice leather collar with hearts on it. She has one that says "I am Microchipped" and it has her microchip information. She has her San Diego County Dog License tag. And then the one with the pink heart that has her name (first and last), address, city, state, zip and then my cell phone number and my first name and last line is my husband's cell phone number and first name. We figured that we always have our cells with us and the chances of her getting out would be when we are not at home. Therefore, our home phone number would be useless!!! Many tags won't allow this many lines (5) so you have to shop around. Try these sites:

You guys have great suggestions! I love the "reward" on the collar. Lots of people would have a hard time returning our cute little guys without some incentive!
Wow, I never thought about a reward. It would have to be a lot of $$$ for someone to give up my Gracie Doodle. She is just too darn sweet, smart and loving. I don't even want to think about it!!!!!
Webster Tramell (so our last name is listed)
our home phone, my cell phone
my parents' home phone, my hubby's cell phone

We've always had my parents' phone # listed on our dogs' tags just in case we can't be reached. They are also our primary dogsitter so if Webster was lost around their house they'd be the ones to call.
Mine has a big "W" on the front..looks very good on the dood...then my address..and my cell phone..I live in a small town and most everyone kinda knows the "cool" dogs...lol!!
We have her name and both of our cell phone numbers. She jangles....I'm looking into an embroiderable collar with the same info.
We also have a collar that has her name and phone number but we don't put it on her often because of the mats that the web collars make behind the ears. You can get the collars at Orvis.com.
Yes. These collars do cause matting. I want to get a leather rolled collar. My groomer says these are best, but none come in the snap in close, which makes it easier to quickly hook up her leash. (it's not just myself walking her)
Both of mine have Boomerang tags..they will engrave both sides of the tags.
Molly & Abby's name
My last name
My cell #
Husband's cell #
back side of tags have
Full address
They also wear Home Again chip tags and a lifetime license.
Mine just have her name, my cell # and the address. I was hesitating on the address, since each letter will be so tiny, but after reading Adina's story, I was glad that I put the address on it.
Looks like I'll be ordering another tag...either with $$REWARD$$, Medication Needed, or If I am alone, I am lost or Medical Covered on it. Can't decide. Maybe all 4. How big would that tag be???? I am giggling picturing this big ol 6" medallion hanging from his collar. I crack myself up sometimes......Must need to get out more.
