She is really good at NOT LISTENING TO A WORD I SAY!  Just kidding - my Annie is just over 7 months old, so she is going through her rebellious teenager phase.  BUT, she is a pretty smart cookie, and has learned everything that I have tried to teach her, except NOT JUMPING ON PEOPLE.  That's a work in progress.

I think her cutest trick is saying "i love you".  She can do it on command, but has also gotten into the habit of saying it when she wakes up in the morning - to tell me that she wants me to let her out of her crate.  It's very cute. It's not as clear as I've seen other dogs do it - but it's a low 3 tone whine thats adorable.

This could be a blessing or a curse, depending on how you prefer your dog to be, but I have the doodle that wants to cuddle ALL.THE.TIME.  I love that about her.

I taught her this when she was younger. I used clicker training for everything that I've taught Annie. So during one session, she was laying down, and this may sound mean, but I held the treat up but would not give it to her. When she started whining for it, I clicked and gave her the treat... so she realized I wanted her to vocalize in order to get the treat. We slowly worked on getting more 'tuned' to the command, and I would become more stingy with the treats if it was just a whine, and didn't sound good enough. But when she did a really good one, she got like 5 treats, so she began associating the 3 syllables with what I wanted her to do. Now I will either say "I love you" or "Annie, do you love me?" and she will answer.
This is a video from when I first taught it to her, so it's not mindboggling, but its short and sweet LOL...

You will notice in the video (at 0:03) that she raises one of her paws - whats funny is that she still does that to this day when she says "i love you" - i must have inadvertently taught her that was part of the deal, LOL.

Wow! How neat is that?

Libby is the best at "Snuggling" with us and we love it!

I think you might mean heeling--unless poor Hattie has a LOT of boo-boos!! :)

Rosco is really great with other dogs.  He's confident but not too cocky and has no problem allowing stranger dogs into his yard.  We've temporarily hosted strays, runaways, and friends' dogs and he has been cool with them all.  Even when I was sure he'd probably end up eating this tiny fuzzy terrier dog because I assumed his prey drive would kick in...he was FINE!  I got really lucky in this department.

Neah, this wasn't taught I'm pretty sure.  I think it's just him.

Luna is very gentle with young kids and other dogs.  With kids she moves very slowly and cautiously and with dogs she is very submissive and only plays roughly with dogs she knows very well.

Luna's most amazing feat with another dog was when she used to play with a 2 pound Yorkie in obedience class (at that time she was over 20 pounds and could have easily injured the yorkie!)

As far as I can tell she's good at "reading" body  language of both kids and dogs and can tell when it's okay to visit them and when to stay away or be extra careful.

Something Trav does that always makes me smile:  if he's waiting by the door to go out and I haven't noticed him, he makes a very polite little sound, sort of rrrrrrrrrrr.  Very softly.  Of course, half the time he's tricking me and doesn't really need to go outside, just wants to play that fun in-and-out game.  :)

Yeah Theo.....such a smart little boy!

Good job Theo!

Luna is funny - she won't bark or whine at all to be let out... she just stands by the door hoping someone will come by.  She has an amazing bladder though, so I'm guessing she's just never in a "rush".

Trixie hardly ever asks to go out....if she does...she stands at her bells & Touches her nose to them...while she makes eye contact with me.- it is very funny.
She doesnt ring them (She did ring them as a Puppy)
