I am always looking for new cool things for my dog. I can hardly leave the house without picking up some little thing for the pup. Some of the things I've gotten have been amazing some, not so much. I thought I'd look to the doodle lovers to see what have been some of your best finds. They can be toys, grooming products, harnesses whatever.

Here are two of my favorites:

Tick Key: I couldn't live without this thing. I live in a tick hot spot and this thing works miracles.

Kyjen Tail Teaser: My dog goes absolutely nuts for this toy. I love it because it burns so much energy, she is absolutely knackered after playing for like 10-15 minutes. You can use it in the house if it is raining. Before we have company I always play this with Charlie, she is exhausted and calm whenever people come over. They think she is the most well behaved puppy. It's my secret weapon. I also like any toy that works with their natural instincts. This fulfills their need to chase.

Something that didn't work for my doodle:

The Everlasting Treat ball, my dog had no interest in this and it was quite expensive.

So what are your favorite dog products?

My favorite is the classic red Kong, Darwin has had his since puppyhood, still loves it and it's in perfect condition. He has destroyed every other toy we have.

and the Easy Walk Harness. One of Darwin's bad habits is pulling on his leash, and we have been training him but we've never gotten him 100% non pulling, we just haven't put enough effort into it. This harness is comfortable for him, but it stops his pulling completely. He walks at our side without pulling even a little bit when he's wearing it. We love it!

I have been thinking about one of these myself. Pete also pulls and I am just able to get back to walking again after breaking my leg in three places 3 months ago. I have been looking for something that might work better for Pete and I to walk so he won't be pulling so much and I won't be so nervous about Pete's pulling. Thanks!

I would definitely try it, it's great.

I swear by the Easy Walk harness. We have many reviews of it here on DK.

Here's one: http://www.doodlekisses.com/forum2/topics/2065244:Topic:83572

Jackdoodle is not much for toys, but the Kyjen IQube soft hide-a-ball toy has been a lifesaver for indoor games of fetch, and washes beautifully:

Murphy used to LOVE his Hide a Squirrel and had it until he chewed the squirrels and trunk up at around 9 months old. Bella would destuff that in 5 min. so there are no cloth, stuffed or otherwise soft toys here anymore. Jack is so smart to not chew this toy. Good going Jackdoodle

He does bite down on the balls to make them squeak, but he doesn't tear them up, because then he wouldn't get to catch them, lol!

I need a new harness for my dog, she outgrew the last one. I had been using the Freedom No Pull Harness. She still pulls with it. It also has a front clasp but it doesn't tighten in the front. I wonder if it would work better.

For training I use a prong.  For ease and fashion while walking in public at events  I like the Premier Head Collar ( same company) but I don't use it very often, and just yesterday I ordered, yet another, Easy Walk harness because we will be traveling. I wouldn't go on a highway without one and I am sure there will be many other times I will be using it.  The only reason I had to replace mine was because a visiting dog chewed the last one to pieces.

Great product.  Camilla has it pictured above.

I love the Easy Walk harnesses and never take them anywhere without it on even after 3 and 1/2 and 2 years old. Also love my brush and clippers for grooming. Les Pooches brush from doodle country store and Andis Professional 2 speed. Sorry no pictures. I just got the boomerang dog tags after going through my 2nd set of tags for each dog. No more. And antlers I guess, from AntlerzPantry. I think thats how it's spelt.

I'd have to say my easy release prong collars are among my favorite dog related things.

F or Joanna - Do you just use the prong collar for training, do the dogs eventually become leash trained and not need it any more? I've been using the Gentle Leader Head harness, it works great but she's not the same dog when she's wearing it and it seems that she pulls just as much when I take it off. She doesn't pull hard or lunge but there is always tension on the leash.

I started using them for training but I basically use them all the time. I love them and see no reason not to use the. I never worry about over 100 pounds of dogs (if you add them up) pulling me down. I have written about them many times on DK. On the very rare occasions I have one dog on the rolled leather collar they always wear I don't find they really pull anymore, though.
