Harlow was picked up at 10 months old from the streets of downtown. She was skinny, full of worms, matted and dirty. The Humane Society took her in and cleaned her up, and that's when our family adopted her. Since she was a rescue, we don't know much about her.
We think she's a labradoodle or a goldendoodle. Either way or neither way, we love her, but are curious to know. Someone at the humane society guessed labradoodle. Our vet thought goldendoodle was a good guess. I want to know what you guys think...Goldendoodle or Labradoodle?
Harlow is about 45 lbs. or so. She's pure white with a little cream on her ears, back and tail. She has softer, less curly hair then our mini goldendoodle and a slightly longer nose. I'd like to know- what's your best guess and why? I included some pics of her and there are more on my page. Thanks!!!!
I believe she's a goldendoodle because she looks just like my 10 month old F1 med english GD, Kachi. Kachi is also the size of a small standard, he weighs a little more than 50 lbs right now. She's beautiful! She looks like she could have come from a breeder, I'm surprised she wasn't microchipped. Here's a pic of Kachi so you can see how similar they look! Best of luck with your beautiful girl!!
Wow! Kachi looks a lot like Harlow! Adorable! Her fur, shape and color are quite similar. You're the third person to mention English Goldendoodles, so I wonder...
Thanks for all of your guesses and compliments! Maybe we'll get a DNA test. If we do, I'll post the results, and we can see who was right! Thanks again!
My guess is also that she is a GD. Long hairy tail is the biggest trait she has to identify this. Looks like she has been groomed but I think GD's have longer hair than LD's which is more likely to be wavy than curly.
Harlow is as gorgeous as her namesake. She must be a doodle to be so gorgeous. Hope she has the temperment to match. My ALD has a tail like hers so I think the only way to know for sure is a DNA test. Harlow must be so happy to have found you!
