What Should We Do About the Hopeless Doodle Addict Trophy?

The trophy is currently in limbo, awaiting a decision from me and Clark.  Sadly despite Laurie and her husband's careful fixing and packing of our highly sought after HDA trophy, it arrived at the next doorstep broken :-( 

So we need to make a decision on what kind of trophy we should seek to replace it.  We originally bought an inexpensive one and given the road it has to travel we probably need to purchase a higher quality trophy.  However, usually higher quality means heavier...and heavier means pricier shipping for everyone. We've also looked at some cool looking vintage ones and considered those. Also wondering if anyone has any opinions on what it should look like or other thoughts?

1st: love, love, love the pic! What a great smile!
Maybe we could replace the current trophy with some kind of a Medal/ medallion ? Would be easier and cheaper to mail and less chance of any damage.

A medal is a good idea. I'm sad because I love that shiny gold star trophy, but a medal could be shiny and star-shaped, and attached to a pretty ribbon maybe.

I think the medal is a great idea and very easy to mail!

Ooh...like the idea of a collar! Just bought a collar for Enzo and they embroidered her name on it. $8! We could get DoodleKisses embroidered on it.
Or how about some kind of T-shirt, where each person could write their/dogs name on it, when received?

But the trophy is being "awarded" to the human, not the doodle. The human is the one who is being recognized for achieving the rank of HDA, lol.

In fact, originally, even the gifts were only supposed to be for the human, not the dogs. The packages have gotten more and more elaborate as time has gone by, which is nice, but I think we should stick somewhat to the original idea of the human being honored, the dogs get enough attention. :)
