This is such a fun thread, Leslie. Thanks for starting it!
Things that I find really cute about Luna:
- She grabs a toy and "Rooooo!"s at us when we come home
- She gets SUPER excited when we say "okay, bedtime" and heads upstairs wagging her tail then plops on the bed
- When she gets a new toy she picks it up VERY carefully and walks around the room whining... like she's too excited and doesn't know what to do with herself or the toy.
She also likes to sleep with her paws in a pile like this. Maybe her paws keep each other warm? I have no idea :)
Oh and one more.... this happens if you lie down on the couch:
Tara has a morning ritual that is sometimes annoying but MOST of the time endearing. DH is normally the first out of bed in the morning and Tara immediately turns her attention to me. She wants me to wake up but doesn't want to actually wake me so she puts her face right up to my face. I can feel her breath on my cheek. If I don't respond she will give me the tiniest lick and then wait. I can still feel her breathing on me! She will continue with increasingly assertive behaviors ( a bigger lick or a little nudge) until I move. Once I open my eyes or move it is PARTY TIME!!! She gets so excited and does zoomies around the bed! Even though she slept right next to me all night she behaves as if she hasn't seen me for a week! It is so sweet to wake up feeling so loved every day! :)
very sweet!
Cute Tara! Trav does a couple of similar things. When he wants me to wake up, the starts gently pushing me with his front feet. He's lying down all stretched out, with those front feet pushing. And he acts excited too when I wake up--like he hadn't been sleeping on the bed all night! Morning wake-up is always so much fun for him. :)
Trav is a clever boy...just a little nudge...LOL Wouldn't it be great to wake up everyday with that much joy and enthusiasm?
Awww....I love this story!
Zack always brings me his bone to hold when he chews on it.....he is a little lazy
Whenever someone comes home, Daisy immediately grabs her "baby" (a pink stuffed dog) to show while Blackjack gives you the biggest smile possible. They brighten up our day!
I think it's funny because greeting the dogs is so different then greeting the family. A simple "Hey" suffices for the family, but with the dogs, you make a big deal! :)
