When do doodles usually get their adult coat?

I am obsessed with my little Chesters coat. Its like golden velvet. Hes almost 3 months old. I know doodles go through many coat changes. Just wondering when they get thier adult coat?

Interesting, my dood is 7 mo looks like your Chester & the puppy Ginny posted in the beginning....I have seen no change yet.

Libby is two years old and her coat still has some changes going on!  I have noticed just lately she is getting tight curls and her coat seems thicker!  She is a labradoodle, so not sure if this is the normal or not?

I just brushed DerbyDoodle today..her coat seemed denceser and a lot coming out on the brush???

How old is she? Could be the start of the transition--I have also noticed that one of my doodles sheds out a lot of her coat in the spring (not the same as this case) and then it all grows back in...what the doodle is that about?

Lyric's coat is still getting curlier and she is 5!
