Hi all...Bentley is 1 year and 3 months old and still gaining weight and growing.
He originally was supposed to be a mini but he is now 54lbs so a mini he ain't..lol

I was curious as into know when do dogs usually stop growing and maintaining a steady weight? He is not over fead or over weight (he eats grain free earth born holistic salmon and sometimes gets sliced up apples and bananas).

Thanks in advance

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Max is going to be at least 90-100 pounds if he's already 68 at six months!!!  He sure is adorable!!!!!

Well maybe the cats will stop beating him up when he's 100lbs lol

Myla is adorable too!

I would agree that his height won't change much but weight will still go up maybe 4-5 pounds....why did you think he would be a mini? What sizes were his parents? Just curious as to what happened with the breeding that threw him off so much as far as size...maybe the breeder gave you incorrect info and you never met the parents?

Most definitely seems to have been some miscommunication or misunderstanding. A mini and a standard are pretty hard to mix up I'd think! But Im not a breeder, so what do I know. Either way he is adorable and there;s more to love!
His mom is 40lbs (labradoodle)and his dad (poodle) 25lbs. I have kept in touch with 2 of his siblings and his sister is 25lbs and his brother is 56lbs. I did call the breeder and he said it was the first time he put these two dogs to breed so it may be a gene thing. I met both parents and both seem pretty small. Oh well...lol...thanks for the advice :)

No, Bentley is not a  mini! LOL  He is a very handsome BIG boy!

Thanks Linda...your boys are handsome as well!!!
